The Kid’s Awesome Activity Book has a lot of fun activities for you child
2018 Holiday Gift Guide / October 10, 2018

Jacob, age 7, loves The Kid’s Awesome Activity Book.  It’s got Puzzles, and Mazes, doodling pages, and more.  This book has provided us with hours of fun, and we still have more to do.  There’s over 400 stickers, and Jacob loves them so much, that he doesn’t want to use them.  100 wacky prompts, games and crafts, and Jacob loves it all.  There’s even a pull out poster in the back, that is now on Jacob’s wall. This book is aimed for your child ages 4 through 8, but you can use it for slightly older kids, too.  Your child will have as much fun with The Kid’s Awesome Activity Book, as mine is having.  What a wonderful Christmas gift this year.  It’s inexpensive, so if you have more than 1 child, buy more than 1 book.  This book really does have everything in it, and your child will love how many hours of fun they have.  And, mine, who is very much into electronics, loves this book so much, that he takes time away from the electronics to do a few pages a day.  We spend about an hour a day doing things out of this book.  I’ve even…

Disney’s Freaky Friday ~ On DVD Now
2018 Holiday Gift Guide , Disney , Movies / October 6, 2018

Freaky Friday is an excellent movie, about a mom and daughter that switch places, to see inside each other’s lives.  It’s great hilarity, with warm thoughts.  This truly is an excellent movie.  It’s been remade since the original, but this is still one of my favorites. I’m going to be watching this Disney flick over and over.  I love it, that much.  I mean, I can remember being 16 and thinking my mom didn’t understand, and now I’m the mom, and know my daughter doesn’t understand.  So, when I watch Freaky Friday, it puts my life into perspective, lol.  A contemporary musical update of the classic comedic story, “Freaky Friday” is based on Disney Theatrical Productions’ stage adaptation of the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers. Sixteen-year-old Ellie Blake and her uber-organized mom Katherine, are constantly at odds about Ellie’s messy room, sloppy clothes and seemingly careless attitude. Ellie really misses her dad who passed away a few years ago; she bickers with her younger brother and argues with Katherine who’s getting ready to marry her fiancé, Mike – tomorrow.  As mother and daughter quarrel, they accidentally break the treasured hourglass given to Ellie by her father and then, suddenly, they…

Kabob set by Cave Tools is Perfect for any Barbecue
2018 Holiday Gift Guide / October 6, 2018

A while back, I received the Kabob Set from Cave Tools, and we’ve used it several times, until finally our grill’s gas tank ran out.  The kabobs were a delight.  We used chicken, potatoes, carrots, and more, to make the kabobs delicious.  My husband said “these are delicious”.  Of course, my mother-in-law and myself, put the kabobs together, the men just had to cook them.  And, they were cooked to perfection, with the perfect skewers. The Kabob/skewer set is amazing.  We’ve never really had kabobs, but this was perfect.  No matter what meat we put on it, it came out juicy as ever, and the veggies were cooked well, too.  I love using these skewers.  We have to get another gas tank, for the grill, before we can use them again.  Now, I’m craving a kabob.  Just talking about it, it’s making my mouth water for the deliciousness. I promise to post pictures of our Kabobs, as soon as I get more gas for the grill.  You won’t believe how beautiful they come out. Here’s some great information about the skewers: *** INSTANT 10% SAVINGS ON PURCHASE OF 2 OR MORE *** PERFECT GRILL CLEARANCE so your food will never…

Roto-Rooter has helped us out of a few clogs.  Whenever there’s a clog, in any drain, we turn to Roto-Rooter products.  My favorite Roto-Rooter product is the Gel Clog Remover.  It really gets the hair out of our bathtub.  That’s where I wash my hair, and it’s seeming to always be clogged.  But, with Roto-Rooter products, we can get the clog out quickly. The Gel Clog Remover STARTS WORKING IMMEDIATELY TO CLEAR BLOCKED DRAINS FAST! Independent lab tests have proven that Roto-Rooter Gel Clog Remover clears tough clogs faster than other national brands. This is due to our Professional gel formula with 25% more active ingredients than the competition, and the precise viscosity to power through standing water to remove all types of stubborn clogs, hair, soap scum and grease. The Gel Clog Remover is good for bathtubs, shower stalls, and sinks.  Where most clogs happen.  You will love this product.  You can purchase Gel Clog Remover, by Roto-Rooter, at Walmart, Kmart, Giant Eagle, and many other retailers. There is also a Hair Clog Remover, which starts working immediately to break down the hair, in the drain, and get rid of it.  You can also find it at Walmart. Roto-Rooter…

Nomi Network
2018 Holiday Gift Guide / September 29, 2018

Human trafficking enslaves nearly 46 million people and is the most profitable illicit industry in the world, bringing in $150 billion every year. We can’t all rescue women and children who are victims of sex trafficking – but we can do a small part to help them in their journey to freedom. Nomi Network is a non-profit that not only assists in getting victims out from human trafficking but then works with them to gain skills needed to succeed. They even work with big brands like Fossil and Sephora to mentor women and teach them real-world skills so they can support their families. One of the ways these women create opportunities for themselves is through the design and construction of unique jewelry, apparel, handbags, totes, and coin purses. They make everything themselves and all profits go right back into the programs needed to support these women. So for this holiday season, why not use your purchasing power for the good? These women are very talented and have created truly gorgeous items, with prices ranging from an $8 coin purse to a $90 silver pendant necklace, designed by a former refugee and written in the Cambodian word for “love.” And their…

Crated with Love for when you have time with your Love

We finally had a chance to do the Crated With Love Box.  It was so great to spend time together, with some fun activities!  I really enjoyed it, and there was so much to do.  The Date Night box, was just the perfect thing to get us motivated.  The price is great too. Crated with Love has been out since 2014, and this was our second box.  We had a box a few years ago, and this one was just as much fun as the last one.  The Carnival Themed, Crated with Love, was more than I expected.  It really was a lot of fun.  Sometimes, when you don’t have the kids, you don’t want to go out, but you still want to do something.  Well, our son stayed right next door, at Gram and Pap’s house.  So, we would’ve left, and he would’ve been calling.  This way, we were able to stay home, and have just as much fun.  We followed our box, by watching a movie. I loved the games, in this box.  It was so much fun.  And, it was like the fun never ended.  We saved the box, for our next date night.  It’s a super…
