A Tiger Like Me is such a cute little story, with lots of awes.  My 8 year old loves it, and my 22 year old took it to class to read to her students, in 2nd grade.  She said they really enjoyed it, and wanted to hear it over again.  My daughter said she can’t wait to read it to her next class.  The kids really loved it, and some even said they could relate to the story.  This little book will be great for years to come, for the kids Sarah teaches. We really enjoyed our time at Cedar Point, this week.  There’s so much to do, and our kids had a blast!  We enjoy it, every time we visit Cedar Point.  We stayed at Hotel Breakers, and enjoyed the beach, as well.  The waves were high, but Jacob didn’t care, we went out in the lake, and had a good time.  While Sarah, and my wife, sat on the beach to watch. We started out slow, on the old time cars, and rode the train.  We went to Forbidden Frontier and panned for gems, which the kids really loved!  We walked and walked the park, until we couldn’t walk anymore.  I went on the Maverick, with my daughter, which was a blast.  The Gemini was another great ride.  The Gate Keeper was fun too!  Now I understand why Cedar Point is called, “The Roller Coaster Capital of the World”. We sat and watched Vertical Impact, and it was amazing.  Watching the dancers, athletes, and more.  The show lasted about 25 minutes, and it gave us a break from walking through the park.  My wife said her fitbit never saw so many steps! What If Everybody Thought That? by Ellen Javernick is a great book.  I read it with my 8 year old, yesterday.  He really got the gist of it.  In the book, they talk about what some kids, and adults, think in their head, but it shows overcoming things, and making it through, even with other peoples judgment.  This is a great book, for anyone who thinks “What If Everybody Thought That?” My 22 year old, daughter, is in her final year of College, to become a Teacher.  I think this book will be great in her future classroom.  Any child, trying to overcome something, with the world’s judgment, will be able to look at this book, and say, “I can do this”.  That’s what’s important to me. What If Everybody Thought That? will give inspiration to children, all over the place.  I couldn’t believe how great of a book this is.  It makes complete sense, and is true.  And, this book is a part of so much more.  Check out the other books by Ellen Javernick. Pirates Don’t Go To Kindergarten! is a supreme book.  If you have a child who is afraid to go to the next level in school, this book is for you.  See Emma was in Preschool, and was afraid to move up to Kindergarten, but her Preschool teacher reassured her, and she went ahead.  It’s a fantastic book to read to your little ones, especially right before school starts. My little one is going to 3rd grade, but we read this together, and he loved it.  My daughter is going into her last year of college, to be a teacher, and she can’t wait to add it to her books, for when she starts teaching.  She said, Pirates Don’t Go To Kindergarten! is a special book that I think the kids I get will love”.  I think she’s right. Jacob is afraid of moving up, every year, because there’s change.  This book has helped him see that change can be good.  And, I really enjoyed reading it, with Jacob.
