I love Robert Rose books, and this one is no different. Best of Bridge Weekday Suppers is the perfect cookbook. Whether you are an experienced cooker, or new to cooking, this cookbook will help you out of any jam. Recipes include supper soups, super salads, supper sandwiches, and recipes for chicken, beef, veal, lamb, pork, fish, and vegetarian dishes, and quick and easy desserts. You will love this cookbook, as much as, if not more than me.
The vegetarian section is my 21 year old, daughter’s, favorite section. She cooks out of it often, and says it’s delicious and filling. She said “I love this cookbook mom, and it’s mine now.” She uses the book at least 3 times a week.
The delectable weekday recipes include Smoky Tomato Chickpea Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons, Shrimp and Bacon Spinach Salad, Pineapple Pulled Pork Buns, Stovetop Gnocchi and Beef Stew, Rosemary Lamb and Feta Meatballs on Lemon Garlic Potatoes, Curried Turkey Pot Pie, Thai Shrimp Cakes and Baked Mushroom and Herb Risotto. With over 4 million Best of Bridge books sold, the ladies have truly become an integral part of dinnertime for families all across North America.
This will be a cherished cookbook, in your family, that will passed down for generations. It’s the perfect cookbook to have, in your home.
