This Frugal Family

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Ducktales is one of my husband’s favorite cartoons, so it’s no surprise that my 7 year old loves it too.  They sat down together, and watched Ducktales Destination Adventure.  I don’t know who was more into it, my 7 year old, or 40 something year old.  It was cute, and I love Huey, Dewey, and Louie, who doesn’t? An ancient tomb in Toth-Ra, the mountain peak of Mt. Neverrest, a vacation island for Greek gods…global expeditions await! Thanks to Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby, trillionaire Scrooge McDuck is back in action, leading the way to death-defying exploits stretching all the way from Duckburg to legendary destinations around the world. Let the greatest family adventures begin! Ducktales Destination Adventure is being released on June 5, 2018.  So, run out and get your copy tomorrow.  You will love it, as do my family.  My almost 21 year old, sat down with her little brother, and dad, and watched it as well.  She was laughing, having a good time.  I’m so glad that this cartoon brought my family together, for some good times. I’m so excited that Peter Pan is coming to Blu-ray for it’s anniversary.  There’s never before seen bonuses, as well.   My 7 year old, son, loves Peter Pan, and now it’s remastered, and with the digital copy, I can put it on his net book.  This is so great.  He can watch Peter Pan over and over.  My daughter, age 20, loves Peter Pan as well, so with Jacob getting the digital, she’ll end up with the Blu-ray!  Which is fine, I just need the DVD.  We spread the love in our home.   Disney’s Peter Pan is celebrating 65 years, of being a fan favorite.  That’s a long time.  And my favorite ride at Disney World happens to be the Peter Pan ride.  I love how it feels like you are flying! Production has begun on “Maleficent II,” a sequel to the 2014 global box office hit “Maleficent,” at Pinewood Studios and on locations throughout the U.K..
