As if we need an excuse to enjoy our favorite tequila cocktail, February 22nd is National Margarita Day! A margarita on the rocks can pack anywhere from 450 to 800 calories, but Sparkling Ice makes it easy to make great-tasting margarita with only a fraction of the calories (aka more room for chips and guac!). Spicy Sparkling Margarita INGREDIENTS 2 parts Blanco Tequila ½ part Cointreau 3 slices of Jalapeño pepper Juice of 1/8 lime 1 ½ parts Sparkling Ice Lemon Lime DIRECTIONS Shake Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and peppers with ice. What better way to support Apple Month, than with a bunch of great Apple products. Sparkling Ice Crisp Apple made my 6 year old, son, so happy.  He loved it.  Well, he loves apples, but he said this Ice was delicious.  “Tasted just like apples, Mommy.”  He’s loved Sparkling Ice for so many years, and now, with the Crisp Apple, he is thrilled.  Sparkling Ice is inexpensive, and found at your local Walmart.  And has Zero Calories, Zero Carbs, and is Gluten Free. Lunch Time Made Easy The brands, that were sent to me, are all great.  I’ve never been so happy to receive a package, for my 6 year old son, as I was to receive this package.  School hasn’t quite started yet, but I know he loves these snacks now, so I’ll be picking them up, when we go to the grocery store. Welch’s new Fruit Rolls went over very well, with Jacob.  He loves anything Welch’s so when I offered him a fruit roll, he immediately took it.  He said, “Mommy, this is so good”.  So, I will be putting one of these Fruit Rolls in his lunch every day. Strawberry Month May was Strawberry Month.  And, we celebrated Strawberry Month with Sparkling Ice, and Welch’s Strawberry Fruit Snacks. Go On a Family Picnic Today Picnic day was April 23, did you go on your picnic?  If not, take one soon.  You will love the fresh air, and the good foods I’m talking about in this post.  It’s inexpensive, and the person you plan it for, will love it. Explore Cuisine is the perfect addition to any picnic.  The Bean Pasta is delicious, and it is quite filling, as well.  I love everything about it, and have even bought some, since my picnic (April 23).  The pasta is quite tasty, with a great texture.  Making you get filled on just a little.  It’s perfectly put in a container, and travels quite well.
