In celebration of its 65th anniversary, Disney’s beloved flight of fantasy, “Peter Pan,” joins the highly celebrated Walt Disney Signature Collection, landing in homes on Digital and Movies Anywhere on May 29 and on Blu-ray June 5. With a little faith, trust and pixie dust, every member of the family will let their imagination soar on this epic adventure to Never Land, sparkling with legendary animation, extraordinary music and both all-new and classic bonus features.

The Walt Disney Signature Collection edition of “Peter Pan” invites adventures of all ages to believe in magic once again and experience a timeless treasure from Disney’s golden age of animation that has stirred the hearts and imaginations of moviegoers worldwide since its original 1953 release. In “Peter Pan,” fantastic adventures await the Darling children—Wendy, John and Michael—when Peter Pan, the hero of their stories, whisks them away to the magical world of Never Land.  After flying with Peter and the delightfully impish Tinker Bell past the “second star to the right and straight on till morning,” they explore the enchanted island and Peter’s secret hideout with the Lost Boys, and leap into high-flying battles with swashbuckling pirates and the infamous villain Captain Hook.

“Peter Pan” is the seventh title to join the Walt Disney Signature Collection, which includes groundbreaking films created or inspired by the imagination and legacy of Walt Disney, featuring timeless stories and characters that have touched generations. The film takes its place alongside “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi,” “The Lion King” and “Lady and the Tramp.”

Our short film will look at who they were and the parts they played in one of the most remarkable team of artists that ever worked together.

  • Deleted Song: “Never Smile at a Crocodile” – With music played over static concept art of the crocodile from Pater Pan.

  • Deleted Scene: “The Journey Home” – A proposed alternate ending where Peter asks the Lost Boys to return home with Wendy and the other children.
  • Deleted Scene: “Alternate Arrival” – A deleted scene where Wendy and the children are initially attacked by the Lost Boys because Tinker Bell tells them that Wendy is holding Peter captive. Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Posted on March 25, 2018 in 2018 Easter Gift Guide Movies

Star Wars: The Last Jedi was a magnificent film. It’s my favorite in the Star Wars series, so far. My 6 year old sat through it, and didn’t blink an eye. As did my 20 year old, and her beau.

Talk about action, this film was filled with action. My wife would look away on the action filled parts, too nervous to see what was going on.

Bring it home for Easter, your family will love it.  Sitting down to watch a movie together, on the Holidays, that’s what we do.  Make it a new tradition in your home, too.

Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi—the next action-packed chapter of the Star Wars saga— Earned critical acclaim and the No. 1 spot atop 2017’s list of highest-grossing films. The visually stunning film welcomes the return of original characters, including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Yoda, R2-D2 and C-3PO and further explores the deepening journey of the saga’s new members, Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo Ren. Now families can bring home the movie digitally in HD and 4K Ultra HD™ and via Movies Anywhere on March 13, two weeks before the 4K Ultra HD™ Blu-ray, and Blu-ray™ disc on March 27. This release also marks Disney’s first title available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc in both Dolby Vision™ HDR and Dolby Atmos® immersive audio, delivering consumers a transformative viewing experience.

Aliens Ate My Homework DVD & Digital Movie

Posted on March 22, 2018 in 2018 Easter Gift Guide kids Reviews

Aliens Ate My Homework was an interesting film, and both of my kids loved it.  Sarah, age 20, thought it was so cute, and Jacob, age 6, believed the entire film.  It’s really cute.  I loved it too.

The cast was great, and consisted of: Jayden Greig, Lauren McNamara, Kirsten Robek, Dan Payne, Alex Zahara, Ty Consiglio, Sean Quan, William Shatner, Tristan Risk.

Unexpected extraterrestrial guests team up with a pair of middle schoolers to prevent the destruction of the planet in Aliens Ate My Homework, coming to DVD, Digital and On Demand on March 6, 2018, from Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production entity of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. A humorous and suspenseful intergalactic adventure, Aliens Ate My Homework follows the whimsical members of the Galactic Patrol on the trail of an evil alien criminal hiding out on Earth.

Based on the first book in prolific author Bruce Coville’s globally renowned “Galactic Patrol” series published by Aladdin Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster Children’s Publishing, Aliens Ate My Homework features the voice of two-time Emmy Award winner William Shatner (“Star Trek”)  and comes from director Sean McNamara (The King’s Daughter). The film also stars Jayden Greig (The Shape of Water), Lauren McNamara (“Summer of Dreams”), Kirsten Robek (The Edge of Seventeen), Dan Payne (Star Trek Beyond, Watchmen), Ty Consiglio (Wonder) and Alex Zahara (“The Man in the High Castle”).

Aliens Ate My Homework is a suspenseful family comedy which follows the adventures of sixth-grader Rod Allbright (Greig) and the extraterrestrial lawmen known as the Galactic Patrol. When a tiny spaceship flies through his window and lands on his science project, Rod and his cousin Elspeth (McNamara) meet a group of friendly aliens, including Phil, a talking plant (voiced by William Shatner). The earthlings quickly join the aliens’ adventurous mission to help defeat an evil alien criminal. After discovering the evil alien is disguised as a human – someone he knows all too well – Rod and Elspeth race to save the world from total planetary disaster.

Coco was Fascinating

Posted on February 28, 2018 in 2018 Easter Gift Guide Reviews

We sat down, last night, to watch Disney/Pixar’s Coco. It’s a really great movie.  My 6 year old never took his eyes off of the television.  I didn’t expect Coco to be so intriguing.   It kept all of our attention.  The deeper into the movie we got, the more interesting the movie became.

In Disney•Pixar’s extraordinary adventure, a boy who dreams of becoming a great musician embarks on a journey to uncover the mysteries behind his ancestor’s stories and traditions.

Coco is a family film, that can be watched, and loved, by your entire family.  Gramma loved it just as much as Jacob.  I even bought it for a special little girl, in my sister in law’s life.  She is going to love receiving it, in her Easter Basket.

The digital copy is amazing.  There’s so much detail to the movie.  I really loved all the colors, and action.  This Cartoon Movie is the Best!

Starring Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal
Supporting actors Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Renee Victor, Jaime Camil, Alfonso Arau, Herbert Siguenza, Gabriel Iglesias, Lombardo Boyar, Ana Ofelia Murguía, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Selene Luna, Edward James Olmos, Sofía Espinosa, Carla Medina, Dyana Ortelli, Luis Valdez, Blanca Araceli, Salvador Reyes

A Heartwarming Story About Kindness, Love and Friendship ~ Wonder

Posted on February 11, 2018 in 2018 Valentine's Day Gift Guide Movies

Wonder was an incredibly inspiring film.  My 20 year old cried, and my 6 year old really watched with care.  Sarah, my 20 year old, is going to College to become a teacher.  So this was a good film for her to watch.  She said it inspired her to be the best that she could be.  My 6 year old says “I’ll never bully anyone, Mommy.”  He saw how hurt Auggie was, and said he doesn’t want to do that to anyone.

The incredibly moving and heartfelt family film, Wonder, is a great film for you to sit down with your family and watch tonight.

Julia Roberts, & Owen Wilson, play great parents in this film.  They are consoling, and inspirational.

Wonder follows the inspiring story of the Pullman family, whose youngest child, Auggie, is a boy born with facial differences.  When Auggie enters  elementary school for the first time, his extraordinary journey unites his family, his school, and his community, and proves that you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out.

You can purchase Wonder, starting February 13, and you will really enjoy it, even with an added tear, or two.

Below are some activities you can enjoy with your family:

My family has enjoyed both of these activities.  We worked on them together, and they came out great.  You, too, will enjoy these activities with your kids.

Never Stop Reaching For Your Dreams LEAP!

Posted on February 11, 2018 in Movies

LEAP! is a great film, with lots of inspiration.  It’s a family film, and my kids loved watching it, as did I.  It teaches you to follow your dreams, and never stop at anything less.  This truly is a remarkable film.  Leap! teaches that you should never let go of your dreams.  My 6 year old, son, and 20 year old, daughter, watched it eagerly to see the ending.  When Felcie succeeds, both kids cried.  They were so excited to see her follow her dreams, and do what she wanted to do.

Eleven year old orphan Felcie has one dream – to go to Paris and become a dancer.  Deteremined to succeed, Felicie finds her mentor in the tough and mysterious custodian, Odette, who, along with Victor’s encouraging friendship, help her reach the stars.
