This Frugal Family

This is the weekend that Tekko comes to Pittsburgh. I’ve been to Tekko several times, but today, I meet my favorite voice actor. I’m super excited, and can’t wait to see him. So, my boyfriend, and I, met our favorite voice actors. Brandon McInnis who plays Gyutaru in Demon Slayer was so down to earth and amazing. I also met my favorite anime actor, J Michael Tatum from Black Butler. He was so sweet, and kind. I can’t believe that I got to meet him. It was a dream come true. I love Black Butler so much, and he made me appreciate it even more. There’s so much going on at Tekko 2023. There are so many vendors, and cool games too. You can really get in touch with your Anime side at this year’s Tekko. I can’t believe I’ve been having such a great time. Tekko is going on the rest of today, and tomorrow. 3 Rivers Comicon is located at the Waterfront, in Homestead, PA. They offer all attendees a free graphic novel! Their show hours are Saturday May 11 from 11AM to 7 PM and Sunday May 12 from 10AM to 5PM. On Saturday, they hold a VIP Afterparty with Convention Beer Bottles, this happens from 7PM to 10PM. The Afterparty event has catered food by Primanti Bros, 2-16 oz cans of Mercy Sparx Sinful Stout, plus an extra Grahic Novel! They have over 100 artists/writers/creators and vendors! They have events like cosplay contests, gaming, larp, and awesome panels. There’s something for everyone at this convention! They have a giant artist alley to shop with vendors from all over the East Coast. They have many guests, a few of them being Michael Golden, Robert Hack, Matt Horak, and Dave Nestler among many others. Their guests include freelance artists, cartoonists, crafters, cosplayers, scultors, photographers, and many others.   Junk Car Masters has your parts.  All you have to do is go check them out.

Tekko is an annual Japanese Pop Culture convention, including all things anime, gaming, fashion, and music. It takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on April 5-8. Tekko is in it’s 16th year, and has one of its best line ups coming this year!  Tekko has announced many special guests, including voice actors, DJs, cosplay judges, fashion designers, and fashion guests.   The band this year for Tekko is LM.C. This will be their first and only US east coast appearance! They are a Japanese rock band consisting of Maya on vocals and Aiji on guitar. They have 8 full albums and two theme songs from the anime series REBORN!  One of the many voice actors they’ve announced is Monica Rial, who voices Mey Rin from Black Butler, Shiro from Deadman Wonderland, May Chang from FMA Brotherhood, Renge from Ouran High School Host Club, Tsubaki from Soul Eater, and many more! Bryce Papenbrook is another voice actor who will be there. He voices Eren from Attack on Titan, Kirito in Sword Art Online, Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist, Masamoi Kida in Durarara!!, Henry in Fire Emblem Awakening, and many more! Another of the voice actors…
