Lemongrass Farms Natural Insect Repellent for the Win
2023 Holiday Gift Guide / November 15, 2023

Lemongrass Farms Natural Insect Repellent is so great. My husband had to cut the grass, in Pennsylvania, the other day, and he used Lemongrass to prevent the bugs from getting on him. It worked wonderfully. We’ve had unlikely warm (60s) temperatures recently, so it’s all about getting the outdoor stuff done, before it gets too cold. The bugs did not go near him, and he said it was wonderful to not have them flying at him. The kid’s formula was tested by my 12-year-old, while he was riding his quad. He said it worked great. When he got off the quad, no bugs landed on him when he was putting it back into the garage. We’ve been looking for a formula that would allow Jacob to go outside. He doesn’t like bugs at all. The Scram! Area treatment to keep flies away is a miracle worker. We had those darn little gnats in the kitchen, but we sprayed around the sink, and they haven’t come back. All of the formulas are all-natural, plant based, and free from any harsh chemicals. This is all wonderful to know. There’s also no greasy residue, like with leading brands. And they are 100% natural….

Bug Lab For Kids

Bug Lab For Kids is a great collection of loads of fun activities for kids.  My son, age 7, loves this book.  He is so taken by it.  He loves to work on the labs, together.  You can collect and interact with bugs the right way, with this book. The Bug Lab For Kids has taught the two of us so much.  From how to catch bugs, to how to pin them.  It’s a family-friendly activity book, and gives us something to do together.  He’s so into the electronics, so when I get home from work, I take him outside, and we work on catching some bugs.  He always takes the book with him.  Hopefully he will remember these activities when he gets older, so he an do them with his kids. Prepare to cozy up with spiders, centipedes, butterflies, and bees, to name just a few! In Bug Lab for Kids, Mississippi State University associate professor, extension entomologist (bug expert), and educator John W. Guyton shares his knowledge and excitement about all things beautiful, creepy, and crawly. Every chapter is bursting with photos, illustrations, fascinating facts and fun activities–including experiments, hunt-and-catch and citizen science assignments, and arts and crafts…

Get To Know 20 Crazy Bugs

The Amazing World Bugs Book is fantastic.  My wife hates bugs, but I found it intriguing to look at with my 7 year old, son.  My son really got into it, and there’s even 13 glow in the dark bugs that came with the book.  It’s a really great book, to introduce the little ones to a whole other world out there.  My wife never goes outside, unless it’s to head straight to the car, but my son, he loves being outside with me.  So, the Amazing World Bugs is a great book for him.  He even takes it outside, and if he sees a bug from the book, will turn to that page, and go show his mother what he just saw.  In all honesty, only a couple of the bugs are found, where we are.  But, he sure makes it sound good when he runs and tells mom what he saw. The Amazing World series transports kids to extraordinary places from the bottom of the deepest ocean to faraway galaxies. The third title in the series, Amazing World: Bugs explores the incredible world of 20 strange and magnificent insects, from shimmering glow worms and fireflies, to the extremely…
