I’ve never been so excited about a product.  I’ve been wanting to try Once Upon a Book Club for a while, so when it came across my desk, I couldn’t refuse.  It’s so cool how you get an amazing book, and products for certain pages of the book.  This month’s box was fantastic.  I don’t read much, but I really got into it, and now my daughter, age 21, wants to borrow it.  I am super excited about this amazing product.  You can get 1 month for $35, or 3 months for $100, so save yourself some money and go for the 3 month subscription.  You won’t regret it. My 7 year old, son, loves Duck On A Disco Ball.  We have read it every night, for the last week.  He’s been home sick, from school, and this gave us something to read.  Who would’ve imagined he’d get an illness and be home for 4 days.  I’ve read it to him numerous times, and he’s gone to sleep while I’ve read it.  He’s also read, and followed along, as well.  He’s a very smart boy, but the way this book is written, is superb. Every night it’s the same old story.  A boy wants to stay up late, and his parents won’t let him.  But sometimes in the morning, he notices things look  a little off – like when he wees a disco ball in the kitchen . . . with his toy duck on it.  So one night he diecides to stay up.  And that’s when the fun really begins. Jacob, age 7, loves The Kid’s Awesome Activity Book.  It’s got Puzzles, and Mazes, doodling pages, and more.  This book has provided us with hours of fun, and we still have more to do.  There’s over 400 stickers, and Jacob loves them so much, that he doesn’t want to use them.  100 wacky prompts, games and crafts, and Jacob loves it all.  There’s even a pull out poster in the back, that is now on Jacob’s wall. The new Ripley’s Believe It or Not! My mom and dad have been considering raising chickens.  With the help of the book “Backyard Chickens: Beyond The Basics” they have decided it’s a great idea.  They went out today, to pick up 6 chicks.  They will start raising the chicks in the house, until they grow their feathers, then move them to outside.  Anyway, the book is great with a lot of great information, that my dad never knew, even though he was raised on a farm.
