Tekko is a convention for all things anime, gaming, fashion, music, and Japanese Pop Culture. Tekko takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the David L Lawrence Convention Center on April 6-9.

They recently announced MAGIC OF LiFE as the international band coming to the convention. This will be MAGIC OF LiFE’s first performance in the US. They are a Japanese Rock band, who have done intros for two anime: Yowamushi Pedal and Joker Game.

Tekko has announced many special guests, including voice actors, video game experts, fashion designers, and the creator of the website “Study of Anime”. One of the voice actors is Jade Saxton, who plays the dubbed Carla in Fairytale, Adelie in Space Dandy, Nona in Death Parade, Young Nico Robin in One Piece, Yoriko Kosaka in Tokyo Ghoul, Komissa in Psycho-Pass, and many more. Another voice actor is Cherami Leigh, who voiced Lucy in Fairytale, Asuna in Sword Art Online, Lizzie in Black Butler, Patty in Soul Eater, and many more. Another voice actor is Brina Palencia, who voiced Touka in Tokyo Ghoul, Ciel Phantomhive in Black Butler, and many more. She has also voiced many video game characters including Mad Moxxi from Borderlands, and others. Ian Sinclair is another voice actor coming to Tekko. He voiced Whis in Dragonball Z, Brooke in One Piece, Dandy in Space Dandy, Sosuke Yamazaki from Free!, Bard from Black Butler, Nile Dok from Attack on Titan, The Reaper from Assassination Classroom, and many more!

Kimura U is an international Fashion Designer coming to Tekko this year. She is also a voice actor and model. She has been appointed by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Kawaii Ambassador and Japanese representative of Harajuku fashion. Another fashion guest is Haenuli, who is Korean fashion designer. she mixes the aesthetic of Lolita fashion and she own unique concepts. The fashion brand coming to Tekko is Royal Princess Alice, inspired by princesses from Europe. This is their first major US appearance. Kimura U also models for them frequently.

Comedian Karl “Uncle Yo” Custer, local musician Nancy Kepner and “Study of Anime” website founder Charles Dunbar will also be there.

Tekko will have panels, an 18+ room for anime programming, vendors, artist’s alley, fashion shows, cosplay contests, gaming, a four DJ line up, and much more!!
