I love my new Eat Smart Precision Tracker Digital Bathroom Scale.  It is perfect for my household, who is obsessed with weight.  We each weigh ourselves once a week, and this scale is perfect.  I love that I’ve lost 3 pounds since weighing myself with it. The Blu Ray Disc, Deluxe Edition of  The Original Christmas Specials Collection is wonderful.  It brings back so many memories, and now I’m making those memories with my children.  Even though my daughter is in her 20s, she still loves to sit down and watch these animated flicks with my 7 year old, and me. My favorite has always been Frosty the Snowman, while my daughter’s favorite is The Little Drummer Boy, and Jacob, my 7 year old, well he’s not sure which one he likes most.  We’ve watched this Blu Ray about 15 times already, but I keep wanting to go back for more.  And, it’s so cute, that I’ve ordered one for my best friend’s daughter, for Christmas. My 7 year old, Jacob, loved his Just Add Color kit, we received.  He had a blast with his 21 year old, sister, and her boyfriend, along with a few of his cousins.  It was so much fun watching them play.  We haven’t had a party like this in a while.  Though it wasn’t Jacob’s birthday, we had a blast.  With his cousin’s birthday being in December, this was a whole lot of fun for all the kids. Duck and Hippo Give Thanks is a great book, and my 7 year old loves it.  With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought this would be the perfect book for bedtime, last night.  Jacob listened to the tale, and really got it.  I was so excited when he started asking me questions, about what I had just read.  Jonathan London is an excellent writer, and he got this book perfectly right! Duck and Hippo Give Thanks has a lot of illustrations by Andrew Joyner, and they are so colorful, and made Jacob really look twice, we discussed the pictures, as well.  He really enjoyed the book, and asked if we could read it again tonight.  I told him, “Of course, but this time you will read it to Mommy”, and he agreed.  I’m trying to help him read, so what better way, than to have him read this wonderful book to me?  I can’t wait, to be honest! I love the Ellie Claire Art Journals I received.  They are so beautiful, the pictures in them are fascinating.  I can’t get over all the pretty colors, and fantastic art work.  And, the quotes are so inspirational.  My sister loves them, too.  I gifted one to her, and she uses it daily. I used different pens/markers in the book I kept, and let me tell you, there is no bleeding through the paper.  The paper is so thick, it’s great.  I also gave a book to my 21 year old, daughter, and she loves the thickness of the paper as well.  She uses her inspirational journal for college, and says the professor even loves it, and asked where to get her hands on one.
