All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is a Great New Movie ~ 9/25/18

I loved watching Solo: A Star Wars Story. My 7 year old even sat down and watched it with me. My 21 year old, daughter, loved it too. We actually saw it at the Theater, but watched it again, the other night. It’s so action packed, and really worth the time to watch it. I loved watching with my little family. It made family night, that much more comforting. We don’t often have Family Night with my daughter in college, so this was perfect.
Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, and Paul Bettany, just to name a few.
There is over an hour’s worth of Bonus Material, on the Blu Ray. Including: Deleted Scenes, Director and cast roundtable, etc.
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Reilly) and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Their quest takes them to the vast, uncharted world of the internet where they rely on the citizens of the internet—the Netizens—to help navigate their way. Lending a virtual hand are Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank (voice of Gal Gadot), a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces—so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had. Directed by Rich Moore (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Zootopia,” writer, “Cedar Rapids”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt,” “Lilo & Stitch”), “Ralph Breaks the Internet” hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.

Destined to Ride now on Digital and DVD

Destined to Ride is a great film for the entire family. My family, made up of 44, 42, 21, and 7, all sat down to watch Destined to Ride, and not only enjoyed our family time, but enjoyed the movie. School will be starting back up soon, so this was perfect for a family night.
Lily’s life is turned upside down when she is forced to leave her friends to spend the summer on a remote ranch with her nature-loving aunt. Convinced her social life is over, she is surprised to meet an unlikely group of friends and embarks on an adventure of a lifetime. When her aunt is threatened by unfriendly neighbors, Lily knows it is up to her and Pistachio, the horse she has discovered and developed an unbreakable bond with, to save the ranch and to find her destiny along the way.
My 7 year old, son, sat through Destined to Ride, and didn’t blink an eye. He said “that was fun” at the end of the movie. My 21 year old enjoyed it too. My mom and dad want to borrow it, and watch it too. It really is enjoyable.
