Aliens Ate My Homework was an interesting film, and both of my kids loved it. Sarah, age 20, thought it was so cute, and Jacob, age 6, believed the entire film. It’s really cute. I loved it too.
The cast was great, and consisted of: Jayden Greig, Lauren McNamara, Kirsten Robek, Dan Payne, Alex Zahara, Ty Consiglio, Sean Quan, William Shatner, Tristan Risk.
Unexpected extraterrestrial guests team up with a pair of middle schoolers to prevent the destruction of the planet in Aliens Ate My Homework, coming to DVD, Digital and On Demand on March 6, 2018, from Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production entity of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. A humorous and suspenseful intergalactic adventure, Aliens Ate My Homework follows the whimsical members of the Galactic Patrol on the trail of an evil alien criminal hiding out on Earth.
Based on the first book in prolific author Bruce Coville’s globally renowned “Galactic Patrol” series published by Aladdin Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster Children’s Publishing, Aliens Ate My Homework features the voice of two-time Emmy Award winner William Shatner (“Star Trek”) and comes from director Sean McNamara (The King’s Daughter). The film also stars Jayden Greig (The Shape of Water), Lauren McNamara (“Summer of Dreams”), Kirsten Robek (The Edge of Seventeen), Dan Payne (Star Trek Beyond, Watchmen), Ty Consiglio (Wonder) and Alex Zahara (“The Man in the High Castle”).
Aliens Ate My Homework is a suspenseful family comedy which follows the adventures of sixth-grader Rod Allbright (Greig) and the extraterrestrial lawmen known as the Galactic Patrol. When a tiny spaceship flies through his window and lands on his science project, Rod and his cousin Elspeth (McNamara) meet a group of friendly aliens, including Phil, a talking plant (voiced by William Shatner). The earthlings quickly join the aliens’ adventurous mission to help defeat an evil alien criminal. After discovering the evil alien is disguised as a human – someone he knows all too well – Rod and Elspeth race to save the world from total planetary disaster.

Lady And The Tramp is a timeless classic. The movie is one of my favorites. My son, age 6, just got introduced to it, last week. My 20 year old even enjoyed sitting down and watching Lady And The Tramp. It’s a really cool film.
You need to check out all the bonus footage as well. Including deleted scenes.

My 6 year old loves his Care Bear Care-Moji Figure from Just Play. He is fascinated by it, and plays with it a lot. He takes it to Grandma’s house, to show it off. I love that he got Grumpy Bear, because that’s my favorite bear. When he’s done playing with it, I will clean Grumpy up, and put him on my shelf. I may be 42, but still a kid at hear. I still have my original Grumpy Bear Stuffed animal.
The figures come in a little pink Care Bear Case, so you don’t actually know which one you are getting. It was super fun watching Jacob open the figure, and the anticipation of which figure it would be. I was secretly hoping for Grumpy Bear the entire time. He didn’t really care which bear it was, he just knew he was getting a new toy.
Grumpy is so cute, and has his hands on his hips, so you know there’s something wrong. I always do this, when I’m mad at my husband. And, he just over all looks sad. I’ve been there many a days. And, take a look at Funshine Bear, he’s looking as cool as ever. And, then there’s Cheer Bear with hearts in her eyes. It’d be great to get any of these lovely bears.

Shnooks are so cute, and cuddly. My 6 year old loves them. We opened it, shook it, and he played with his Shnook for hours. But, you can do more than just play with your Shnooks, you can get online, and play there. They are so cute, and warm. I can’t wait until we can go to Walmart to get some more Shnooks. They are inexpensive, and your child will love it.
They grow 8x the size they start out. That’s amazing. I want one for me, I may have to go just so I can get one. They are suitable for age 3+.
You can go here, to watch a video, and meet the Shnooks. The Shnook, pictured above, Shazam. She’s so cute, and so much fun, for my little one. He even sleeps with her at night. You can read more about Shazam, and the other Shnooks, on the link in this paragraph.
My sister in law gave a Shnook to a little girl she watches, age 3, and she just loves it. Just as my son does, they play with their Shnooks together, and take them on mini adventures.
Stay posted to This Frugal Family for a contest, for Shnooks, very soon.

I received the My Little Pony Movie last night. And, though I have a 6 year old, boy, he sat down and watched it. He loved it. I can’t believe how cute it was. Like the box says, “Discover a different breed of hero”.
This cartoon has an all star voice over. Including: Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Pena, and more!
The story is truly cute. They make new friends along the way, and have exciting challenges to complete.
Right now, it’s available on Digital, and on January 9, it’ll be available on Blu-ray/DVD.
When a dark force threatens Ponyville, the Mane 6 go on a journey beyond Equestria to save their beloved home and they meet new friends and exciting challenges along the way.

Tangled: Queen For A Day would be a great DVD for that special little girl, in your life. Tangled is one of my favorite Disney movies, so when I found out about this DVD, I had to get it. I watched it with my 6 year old, son, and he really enjoyed it as well. There’s really nothing that says boys can’t watch too! It really has a great story line, for the little ones. And, it’s a series, so there is more to come.
This would be a great added Christmas gift, this year.

Jacob, my 6 year old, received a Package from Santa the other day. He just adores it! He loves Mrs. Claus’ Cookie, and the Reindeer feed, the most. He also loved his video, that is personalized for him.
You can get this wonderful package for your little one, and they will believe like they never have before. It’s even post marked from the North Pole, and Santa Claus, himself. There was a good list certificate, and a letter from Santa, as well as a ton of other goodies. This box is not expensive, and will be a lasting treasure to your child.
We haven’t received our call from Santa yet. I scheduled it for our convenience, for Christmas Eve. That way before Jacob goes to bed, Santa will be calling. This will be just an added plus! The video is really cute, but you only have 1 day left to order that video. You have to get it for your child, it is sincerely the cutest thing ever. While Santa is super busy this time of year, he has Elfred the Elf put your child on either the Naughty list or Nice list. You even get to say why they made that list. I love the video, and my mother in law ordered it, for the lasting memory. My son can show his kids, when he has them.

We have made this a tradition, in our family, and we are not disappointed. Kennywood’s Holiday Lights Show is Fantastic this year. They are exceptionally great this time around. We even got close to Santa Claus, with no long line. We were able to see him, and Jacob just adored that part of the trip.
Santa will be here in a few short weeks, and if you haven’t already, go to see the Holiday Lights at Kennywood. You will love it, whether you have little ones, or not. We, of course, got some toys, for Jacob to bring home. They are really cool, and were inexpensive. The tree has a strobe light on the bottom, and it reflects off of everything. Really Cool, Kennywood!
Seeing Santa, and Christmas Kenny The Kangaroo, was the first thing we did, in the park. We wanted to get there, before the line got too long. So we got there at 5:45 pm. We were there with a few more people, but the wait was so short. Usually the line is really long, to see Jolly Old Saint Nick. We were in and out, within 15 minutes. Jacob loved being able to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas. This was a highlight of our trip. And, Jacob is usually scared of Santa, but this one made his night.
We went through Kiddyland, and Jacob got to ride a few rides. He really enjoyed his time at Kennywood. Kiddyland is his favorite section, and the lines weren’t long there either. We got really lucky this year. Usually we wait a while to get Jacob on the rides, and then wait while Jacob rides the rides. Jacob usually gets bored with the wait. I’m sure it had to do with the fact the temperature was only 22 degrees, when we were at Kennywood.
They do have heating stations, so you can get the feeling back to parts of your body. The cooling stations are really nice, and it only takes seconds to get warmed up. You can also get Pizza, or Potato Patch Fries, along with a delicious Hot Cocoa. The Hot Cocoa was my favorite part of the trip. It was so delicious. I don’t know why I can’t make it like that at home. And, while I was drinking it, I stayed nice and warm.
The way Kennywood is all lit up, is Fantastic. It really is an enjoyable site to see, this time of year. With no long wait lines. We were there for 2 hours, and got to see the entire park. Open rides were really cool too. My husband, and son, as well as my Mother in Law, and Father In Law, really enjoyed themselves. Our pictures will last a lifetime, but we will have to go again next year to see some more great lights, and enjoy more rides, with Jacob. While he’s young, and still believes, this is so much fun. We will even enjoy after that, because my 20 year old, daughter, still loves going to Kennywood Holiday Lights.
The big tree is always our favorite picture. What a fantastic site. You can see that we aren’t the only ones that love this picture. Others are taking the same photo.
Make sure you get your tickets and go tonight. Or, any weekend between now and the end of the month.

We love Sun Tail Mermaid, and Shark, tails. They are amazing. My 6 year old, son, loves the shark. While my 20 year old, daughter, loves the Mermaid. These are going to make the Holidays so much more fun, when we gift them to their cousins. We bought a set of each, for Jacob & Sarah, and another set of each for their two favorite cousins.
I was going to wait, and give Jacob his for Christmas. Then, his father reminded me that he was going to a pool party, so he could try it out. He never took it off. He loved it so much.
Also, there are a variety of colors, so you can pick your child’s favorite color, and they’ll love it even more. Green is Jacob’s favorite color, and pink is Sarah’s. So it’s a no brainer on the two I got for my kids. However, their cousins, we weren’t sure of, so we just picked two other colors, so they’d be different.

Depending on what state, area, you are from, these would be perfect year around. We are in Pennsylvania, so we have to go to an indoor pool, right now, to be able to use these. Which isn’t a problem, because Jacob gets invited to pool parties all the time. And, when he went, yesterday, and showed off his shark gear, all the boys wanted to know where to get it. I sent their parents to Sun Tail Mermaid website, and explained to them about the 10% discount. They couldn’t have been more excited.
